Materials used to create your artwork
To ensure your property portraits remain as vivid and pristine as the day they were captured, we use only the highest-tier professional materials. Our commitment to quality is built on four key pillars:
- We print using a breakthrough in professional ink technology. This 10 colour system captures a wide range of hues, with vibrant colours other printers often miss. These archival pigment inks also offer unmatched longevity, with display ratings of up to 200 years for colour and 400 years for black and white.
- Our property portraits are printed on a premium 300gsm heavyweight matte fine art paper. The cold pressed process gives a textured finish that adds depth and character to your property portrait. The 100% cotton blend is both acid and lignin free, preventing the yellowing and degradation of standard printing papers.
- An Arctic white conservation grade acid and lignin free matte board will frame your property portrait, this safeguards from yellowing and brittleness. It also creates a protective air gap between the artwork and the glass, preventing condensation and moisture damage, plus it adds aesthetic value, drawing the eye of the viewer to the fine detail of your artwork.
- Finally, we are proud to support local artisans by using high-quality frames crafted right here in New Zealand. These are made from quality timber, providing a level of durability and finish that mass produced imports cannot match. You can choose between black or white, which are currently available with standard glass in three sizes, 6x8, 8x10 and 11x14 inches.
The combination of these four key pillars ensures your property portrait will stand the test of time, giving your artwork the chance to become an heirloom which can be handed down through generations.
